Photoville Scavenger Hunt Challenge

Meet us at the Activity Area on the Lawn, drop in anytime!

All ages welcome.

 

In this activity we will transform photographs into puzzle pieces by way of mysterious images and enigmatic locations. Every image will create a clue that adds to an immersive experience as we collectively generate the treasure trail. The prize? Well, you will need join us to find out!

PRESENTER BIO

André Feliciano is a Brazilian-born artist working between São Paulo and New York City with a passionate interest in cultivating art, nature, and togetherness in multiple forms.

Feliciano received a BFA from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado, São Paulo, Brazil and received two Masters’ Degrees, one in Arts Education and the other in Poéticas Visuais, from São Paulo University.

André has exhibited work internationally, published several books, and spent the past year developing educational programs for Olafur Eliasson’s Little Sun Foundation in Berlin. Feliciano has coined the term Floraissance whereby he interrogates the future of Contemporary Art.

In this family activity we will explore what plants have to teach us about migration, borders and our diverse identities utilizing a cyanotype photographic process.

This family activity will demonstrate step by step, how to make paper from mushrooms and recycled materials including dried flowers and newspapers.

Join us for an afternoon of learning how to draw and collage with artist Cey Adams using the iconic images of Hip-Hop legends made by photographer Janette Beckman!
